Marvel launches "Age of Revelation" X‑Men event
Marvel is restarting the X‑Men franchise today (July 16), 30 years after Age of Apocalypse. The dystopian “Age of Revelation” event begins with a prelude by Jed MacKay and Humberto Ramos, in which Doug Ramsey becomes the antagonist controlling Earth. It’s the first of 16 new series set a decade into the future, replacing the main X‑Men lineup indefinitely
San Diego Comic‑Con reveals star‑studded 2025 lineup
The official SDCC 2025 schedule (July 24–27) includes the first-ever appearance of George Lucas, panels for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Alien: Earth, Peacemaker, King of the Hill, and several new film and animation previews (e.g. Tron: Ares, Project Hail Mary, Rick and Morty)
Ireland’s Dublin Comic-Con teases gaming floor & Frank Miller
Dublin Comic-Con (Aug 9–10, 2025) has announced a new gaming floor sponsor, guests including Frank Miller, Jamie Campbell Bower, and Vincent D’Onofrio, plus a streamer-hosted panel and high-tech giveaways
First look at Mole Man in Fantastic Four: First Steps tie-in
Marvel unveiled the MCU’s Mole Man, played by Paul Walter Hauser, in the Fantastic Four: First Steps comic. Unlike the comics, this version leads a political movement for his underground people. The feature ties in with the Phase 6 film due July 25
